With this pandemic we all started cooking a lot. Some are forced to, because all restaurants and take-aways are closed, but others welcome the new found time on their hands to try all those recipes they never had time for. Do you love being in the kitchen?
I remember when I was in my early 20's I could barely cook pasta. Seriously, I didn't know the water had to boil first before adding the pasta.
My fortune in the kitchen changed when I started to work for an amazing lady. She has 7 kids and made the most delicious food for them.
Her goal was healthy, tasty and homemade. I learned a lot from her. We made everything with freshly ground flour and all organic and natural ingredients.
It is here where I also learned the fine detail of bread baking and pastries. She awakened a love for food and the kitchen within me. It was unstopable from there.
I wanted to know more about everything and working in the kitchen became my passion. Until this day I can make and create all day and I dont necessarily have to eat it. I enjoy the process of it all.
We planned a trip to travel through Europe and naturally I had to combine my love for food with it. I had the previledge of cooking with SO many amazing people from all walks of life.
We all agreed that those encounters was what made our trip so much more memorable.
I am in the final stages of my book with all the recipes from more than 25 countries and will publish it soon.
I always try new recipes and ideas and will share them here, please try them, comment, and ask questions. We have tried many diets, Vegan, Vegatarian, Fruitarian but decided there are just too many options in life, and we prefer not to limit ourselves.
You will thus find all kinds of recipes here, from all over the world, healthy and not so healthy - we do generally eat healthy - carrots, from our carrot cake, berries with our pancakes, and nuts in our pies!!
